Biography

Dr. Philipp Hebestreit is a certified pharmacist and obtained Doctor’s degree at the Humboldt University, Berlin. He has been with BASF since 2004. After Q&R responsibilities with focus on excipient innovation including association work e.g. in IPEC, he now is regional technical service manager for biopharma ingredients to serve todays customer needs. In this role, Philipp is responsible for the Biologics platform of materials, overseeing the introduction to the market of new products and supporting the development of new materials for the biologics industry.
